dual monitors s video connection

Dual Monitors & S-Video Connection

I have installed the last 6 builds upto and including 5381.
The last few versions I had problems installing Vista, half way through the installation my primary monitor would go blank and the image would end up on the secondary monitor which I did not want, so that appears to be fix now in build 5381
The problem I have now is that after installation has completed I would try updating the Generic monitor files to the Dell 2001FP and Samsung SyncMaster 930MP driver files I use on XP but it fails to install with errors and everytime I restart the system it would show the add/new hardware screen and once the system has completely booted up a few seconds later my primary monitor would go blank and it would appear on the secondary monitor, so I keep having to change to back.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem, I have bugged it but I'm for bugging this darn monitor issue

Clayton I have dual monitors on a ATI 9600 card. I don't believe the issue is within Vista. Are you running these monitors on a single graphics card, or duals. Vista will only support 2 for now

I had the same issue in the ctp builds, tried beta 2 last night, same issue. Even with a single display attached vista sees it as a proper driver, but fails to install it. It will list the lcd as a dell2001 fp until the next reboot where it redoes it as a generic pnp monitor.
